i have to say, if you're a little but nuts (check), and you love you some zappa, and you're "not afraid to get into the whole paraphernalia of it all" go back and listen to your favorite zappa tunes on vinyl, then cd. by the time garrett + trombly got me into the man, it was all about cd's. as i got more into it, i got everything on lp and the remastered cd's are just so much different mix-wise. hot rats especially, is night and day. then of course, there's the live shit. check this out.
